We are very excited to let you know that the planned Phase 1 improvements for the playground at Flag Pole Hill are now fully funded! Work has started at the park and is scheduled to be complete in September. We are no longer accepting donations for work at the playground. However, we will keep you informed when Phase 2 begins.
It was a long road, but we believe that it was worth the wait to get a comprehensive plan at Flag Pole Hill. We are more committed than ever to bringing a new outdoor play space for children and adults of all abilities to the site of the over 20-year-old playground that is on Flag Pole Hill now.
We worked with La Terra Studios a Dallas-based landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm. They created similar playgrounds in Grapevine (Casey’s Clubhouse) and at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. We can’t wait to see what they create for the Playground at Flag Pole Hill!
