Observe Earth Day with For the Love of the Lake
April is such a renewing time of year. Color is returning to the trees and the fields are blooming around White Rock Lake Park, and Dallasites are flocking to the lake and its trails to enjoy the beautiful weather. April also reminds us to honor and preserve our green spaces.
In fact, this Saturday, April 22 marks Earth Day, a day to celebrate and demonstrate support for environmental protection and conservation. It’s a day that aligns perfectly with our mission at For the Love of the Lake: to preserve and enhance White Rock Lake Park and actively engage in service to maintain the environment for future generations.
FTLOTL is passionate about providing opportunities for all ages to get outside and contribute to the preservation and stewardship of Dallas’s favorite urban oasis. Check out our programs and join us as we celebrate Earth Day!
