Have you caught this week’s issue of White Rock Lake Weekly? For the Love of the Lake is featured on the front page! It was honor to spend time with renowned golfer Jordan Spieth, celebrating the completion of our 20th anniversary project, the Flag Pole Hill Inclusive Playground, funded by the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation. This idea for this playground was initiated by former FTLOTL president Liz Akins, who dreamed of providing a place for all to play, and has become an extension of our mission to preserve the urban oasis that is White Rock Lake Park.
