Our region’s biggest day of online charitable giving is happening TODAY and we need your help! For the Love of the Lake has set an ambitious goal to raise $20,000 through NTX Giving Day this year to support our key initiatives and outfit our volunteer teams so collectively we can make the largest impact. How will we deploy your donation?
For the Love of the Lake works to ensure that those who actively enjoy White Rock Lake Park may also engage in service opportunities to maintain a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
Funds raised through NTX Giving Day will support park improvements we implement in partnership with Dallas Park and Recreation, as well as the purchase of supplies for hundreds of clean-up volunteers we host every month. Donations will support:
- Updating and adding ADA picnic tables
- Updating and adding ADA pad sites
- Creating accessible paths to ADA areas
- Trash bags and pickers
- Long nets
- Kayaks
- Latex and chemical-resistant gloves
- Life jackets
- Sunscreen and bug spray
