Schools are entering their last days before summer break, and it is always energizing to see families and our younger residents out enjoying White Rock Lake Park and all it has to offer in the summer months. With more traffic on and around the lake, we want to reiterate the importance of cleaning up after yourself and properly disposing of garbage and pet waste. From hydrating during family bike rides, to picnics on the banks of the lake, every little piece matters, and every piece picked up makes a difference!
Get together as a family this summer, give back, and join us at one of our clean up events! Take a look at our calendar for upcoming Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up dates, or get a group together and organize your own clean-up event through our Adopt-A-Shoreline program.
How will you be enjoying the lake this summer? Whether you’re taking in live music on the banks at summer concerts at the Dallas Arboretum and Bath House Cultural Center or braving the heat and running for a cause, our urban oasis is calling!
